Health Care System

Until 1910, there were no medical institutions in the territory of the Pukhovichi region. The nearest hospitals were located in the town of Igumen (Cherven) and Minsk.

In 1970, a regional hospital (300 beds) was built in the town of Maryina Gorka. The Pravdinsky town hospital (75 beds) was built in 1979. The Svisloch hospital and Dubrovo ambulance station were built in 1983. The Drichin ambulance station and the Druzhny ambulance station were built in 1987. The Dukora ambulance station and the Zazerye ambulance station and a new polyclinic (450 visits per shift) were built in 1988.
